-the stand (and guest).........

Now comes the fun part....staining the stand and canopy! I went to a local wood furniture store and got some Natural Pine stain and semi-gloss varathane.

-Since i was in the garage staining, I decided to figure out how I am going to get R/O water to the tank to keep the sump full. I decided that I am going to put a hole in the wall behind the stand (which is into the garage) and plumb the R/O unit from there. Below is a shot of my Kent RO/DI unit hanging on the wall. In the lower left, you can see the main shut-off valve/regulator into my house. I intend to get a plummer over and have him cut into this line and hook it up directly to the unit.

-I just brought the stained stand and canopy into the house, and
am letting the vapors reduce, with the intent of completing the
major parts of the assembly this next weekend.

Well....those are the beggining pictures. At this point, I have a lot of items on order from....

I have moved it into place...and hooked up the RO unit from the garage (hole in the wall). I filled it with RO, mixed the salt, and have placed some live rock from the Savaii Islnds into the tank. Also moved down my freindly Maroon Clown and pigmy angel.
